Professional Summary

Juliana Hirn, Ed.S., CCC-SLP, has her Educational Specialist degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) from the University of Georgia. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in CSD from the University of Central Florida (UCF) where she is currently enrolled as a doctoral candidate. She is an experienced speech-language pathologist (SLP) and scholar based in Florida. 

Juliana’s research interests include, but are not limited to: Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), reading and writing disabilities, keystroke and cognitive processes, eyetracking, accessibility, accommodations, advocacy, facial expression data, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for individuals with disabilities, dialogic reading, developmental delays, early intervention and literacy, Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH), DeafBlind, and American Sign Language.
